Oahu Wedding Locations

Magic Island
Magic Island looks onto Waikiki and Diamond Head. It is on a peninsula within Ala Moana Beach Park. Another landmark is world famous Ala Moana Shopping Center. This location can accommodate a small reception, chairs and arches. No Hawaiian beach can permit these things so if the above is what you need then this is the location for you.

Lanikai
One of the most beautiful beaches in all of the Hawaiian Islands this spot is famous for weddings and beach photography. A couple of small islands in nthe background, sandy beaches and tourcoise waters make this an exceptional wedding venue. It is 45 minutes away from Waikiki and is ideal for small wedding parties and is not for large parties because of parking issues.

Makapuu
One of my favorites! 30 minutes from Waikiki delivers you to a spectacular coastline with dramatic views This location does not usually have big crowds.

Duke Kahanamoku
This is the only beach in the Waikiki area to permit weddings. It is the spot where we do 90% of our Oahu weddings. It is located by Ft. DeRussy park and sits on the northern side of the Hilton Hawaiian Village lagoon. It is surpisingly not crowded and quite beautiful.

Waialae Beach
Our second most popular beach is 10 minutes drive from Waikiki. More privacy, more interesting ocean views make this a worthwhile location for those that do not mind the short drive, limo or taxi ride.
